The Power and Blues face off at Merrivale Recreation Reserve in a second semi-final with a spot in the grand final up for grabs.
Walsh, who watched the Blues run over the top of Merrivale last Saturday, said they had improved.
"They played well it was really good game," he said.
"They were really good around the footy which is their strength."

The Power mentor said he felt Nirranda had improved with the addition of some important players in recent weeks.
The Blues brought back Isaac Templeton, who had been suspended, for its final round clash against Timboon Demons.
The prolific midfielder was named second best against the Tigers in the Blues' qualifying final win.
Walsh realises the Blues are up-and-about after their upset win over the Tigers.
"We're expecting them to be at their best," he said.
"It will take our best to beat them."
Walsh also knows the Blues are a contested ball beast.
But the slick Power has been working on its contested ball all year in preparation for a tough finals series.
The Power belted the Blues in round 16 at Nirranda Recreation Reserve.
But they scraped over the line by two points in round five at Noorat Recreation Reserve.
The Power will be bolstered by the return of half-forward Mark Clissold and half-back Nick Bourke who missed the final round with general soreness.
The Blues have received a big boost with dangerous forward Jack Primmer returning from a hamstring injury and star midfielder John Paulin back from lower-back and hamstring tightness.
"He's a premier player for us," co-coach Shane Threlfall said of Paulin.
Kolora-Noorat, which finished on top of the ladder, took the opportunity to rest up during its week off.
Walsh said his team trained on Tuesday and Thursday nights during the past fortnight.
He previously told The Standard he trusted his players to do their own training on weekends.
Otherwise, the senior team has been supporting the club's other grades.
The Power's under 18s side won its qualifying final over Timboon Demons while the reverses side lost its qualifying final to Old Collegians.
The under 15s side, which finished on top of the ladder, has a semi-final with South Rovers on Saturday.
Walsh said it was an exciting time at the club and the teams were supporting each other.
The loser of the second semi-final will play the winner of the first semi-final between Merrivale and Old Collegians which is being played at Allansford Recreation Reserve on Sunday.
