Four teams will battle it out in the opening weekend.
Merrivale and Dennington will play off at Mortlake's DC Farran Oval on Saturday.
Old Collegians and Timboon Demons face-off in the elimination final at Merrivale Recreation Reserve on Sunday.
The much-improved Tigers roared from ninth to second this season after the return of experienced players and strong recruiting.
Dennington, last year's runner-up, will be hoping to go one better in this finals series.
