Warrnambool Botanic Gardens curator John Sheely will share tales from his travels to the UK at the Friends of the Botanic Garden's annual general meeting on Wednesday.

Mr Sheely has undertaken voluntary work entailing two weeks in the arboretum and two weeks in general horticulture at Royal Botanic Gardens Kew, as well as visiting other gardens around the world.
The Royal Botanic Gardens Kew is a 330-acre UNESCO World Heritage site, with the world's largest and most diverse collections of living plants. Mr Sheely will be the guest speaker at the meeting at the Hammond Centre Christ Church, Henna Street, from 5pm. Everyone is welcome to attend.
