Four new signs have been erected at the front of the building in High Street, explaining the town's current and historic links to its Irish heritage, farming and indigenous heritage.
The signs compliment the gathering space and story wall, with lighting the final piece of the puzzle to be added soon.
Kindergarten president Sam O'Keefe said funding had come from Pacific Hydro and the South West Community Foundation.
New gymnastic mat sets have also been purchased, with this money coming from fundraising around the Koroit Irish Festival.
"We have a budget to work with so it's great to get this outside money in to add some extra touches for the children," Ms O'Keefe said.
"It also grows our community involvement which is important."
