Kuridala is one of 10 runners in the feature jumps race on the seven-race program.
"Kuridala faces a tough task," Wilde said.
"There's a few handy ones in the race like Dormello Mo, Speedy Jax and Historic so it's a difficult race.
"Kuridala will gain a lot from the experience. I think he's going to be a better jumper next season. He should be more seasoned then."
Top-weight Dormello Mo is looking for his third win from six starts over 3800 metres at Casterton for Warrnambool trainer Simon Ryan.
Patrick Payne's Speedy Jax will have strong support after scoring an impressive victory at the picturesque track three runs ago.
The steeplechase is one of three jumps races on the card with a maiden and open hurdle the other events.
The first race is set down to begin at 12.55pm with the last scheduled to kick off at 4.45pm.
