The Roosters, who went through the home and away season undefeated, were too strong for Horsham Demons on Sunday, winning 5.9 (39) to 0.0 (0) at Hamilton's Pedrina Park.
South Warrnambool coach Chris Meade said the Roosters had surpassed their pre-season expectations.
"It is very pleasing and rewarding after the work the girls have done," he said.
"They're a tremendous group, they've taken it on themselves and shown great leadership."
Meade, who praised ruck Stella Bridgewater, onballer Layla Wilson and half-back flanker Rosie Pickles, said the scoreboard dominance against the Demons did not reflect the nature of the game.
"We kicked three goals in the first quarter and no score in the second," he said.
"It was just a battle. Both sides ran and tackled well. We were lucky to get a break early."
Meade said the Roosters would train as normal on Wednesday and Friday this week before replicating a game situation on Sunday.
The grand final is scheduled for Friday, August 2.
Meanwhile, Western Bulldogs' Next Generation Academy have picked their under 15 and under 16 squads.
Terang Mortlake's Grace Wareham and Shae DeFrancesco, Hamilton's Nadine Bunge Eliza Jagger, Emily Pitts and Kate Tomkins and Mitzi Adamson, Timboon's Ebony Woods and Susanna Ryan, Warrnambool's Jaynaya Miller, Lucy El-Hage and Sarah Moloney, and Victoria McPhee, South Warrnambool's Jasmine Davidson, Kate Noseda and Rosie Pickles, Portland's Lashay Blurton and Paige Rose-Maher and Old Collegians' Jazmin Royal and Jasmine MacDonald were picked.
