Barr watched first-hand on Saturday as Wright lifted the Magpies to a one-goal win over the Eagles at Bushfield Recreation Reserve.
The top-three scalp helped Camperdown keep its season alive. It is now one of four sides locked on 24 points with five rounds to play.
"Emma makes a huge difference to any side," Barr said.
"Her defensive pressure yesterday was the difference."

Camperdown coach Brooke Richardson was pleased with the Magpies' composure.
"We were calm and I felt we had a lot of depth on the bench which helped us to have fresh legs, especially on a hot day compared to the last two weeks," she said.
Richardson said the narrow win also gave her players belief they could grind out matches.
"Last week we were up against Warrnambool and lost it and fortunately for us this time around we were able to hold on and come away with a win," she said.
"It was a real morale booster for our girls."
The Eagles inflicted top side Cobden's only loss of the season prior to the league-wide bye but has since fallen to Terang Mortlake and Camperdown.
Barr conceded the break "halted our momentum".
She was happy with the Eagles' determination against the Pies.
"We were seven goals down in the last quarter and came back and were pleased with that, it shows we can score quickly when we need to," Barr said.
