On Sunday, the parents and friends will be hosting a fundraiser at the Capitol Cinema in Warrnambool.
The Lion King will be screened at 3pm, preceded by afternoon tea at 2pm. Tickets for adults are $20 and $14 for children.
ON TARGET
The Parents and Friends at Port Fairy Consolidated Primary School have enjoyed a productive first half of 2019.
The group has reported it has passed the half-way mark towards its targeted fundraising total after the opening two terms of the school year. It has extended a welcome to all members of the school community to attend its monthly meetings.
BIG KICK
Budding young footballers from Hawkesdale P12 College got the chance to shine on the big stage last Saturday night. The school's Auskick group played at half-time of the Geelong versus St KIlda game at Kardina Park. Despite the cold weather, the Hawkesdale youngsters impressed all with their spirit and skills.
COMEBACK
After three terms away on extended leave, St Patrick's Primary School Koroit principal Mark Moloney has returned to his role. Matt O'Brien has filled the role in Mr Moloney's absence. Mr Moloney has announced he will step down as principal at the end of the year. Mr Moloney has been principal at the school since 2001.
HANDY
Student leaders at St Patrick's Primary School Port Fairy are searching for help to fuel their creative flair. The students are on the look-out for old bookshelves for a project they are undertaking.
GOOD START
Breakfast Club continues to be an important part of each school day for many at Koroit and District Primary School. From 8.30-8.50am each school morning, breakfast club serves up a hearty morning meal.
