Warrnambool police Sergeant Tom Morris said a 23-year-old man from west Warrnambool was arrested in relation to a break-in committed between June 28 and 30.
He is alleged to have stolen a large TV and stereo.
Forensic evidence led to his arrest and the man who was already on a community corrections order. He was remanded in custody until July 16.
There have been a number of break-ins committed in the west Warrnambool area during the past fortnight.
A 45-year-old Hamilton man also appeared in court but made no application for bail and was remanded in custody until July 31.
He is accused of stealing a glue gun for the Hamilton Aldi store, as the theft of a $6000 racing bike and a burglary and theft at the Hamilton waste transfer station.
