A SOUTH Warrnambool footballer will face the AFL Western District independent tribunal on Tuesday night after an alleged incident with an umpire during a Hampden league senior match.

Ethan-Jon Harvey was sent directly to the tribunal charged with using abusive, insulting, threatening or obscene language towards or in relation to an umpire.
The teenager, who was on Greater Western Victoria Rebels' NAB League list last season, was reported and red-carded in the first quarter of the Roosters' 7.9 (51) to 5.13 (43) loss to Hamilton Kangaroos at Melville Oval on Saturday night.
South Warrnambool sits in fifth spot on the ladder despite four straight defeats.
It is two games clear of Camperdown and Hamilton Kangaroos with seven rounds remaining.
Meanwhile, Panmure footballer Kallan Melican has accepted a one-week set penalty for carelessly striking Kolora-Noorat opponent Nicholas Marshall in the third term of the Bulldogs' upset 9.9 (63) to 3.4 (22) win against the Power on Saturday.
Melican will miss the Bulldogs' round 14 match against East Warrnambool at Reid Oval on July 13.
Panmure is a finals chance, sitting one win outside the top five with four rounds remaining.
The Hampden, Warrnambool and District league, South West District and Mininera and District leagues all have byes this weekend.
