The whales swam across the Lee Breakwater on Friday afternoon.

Bob McPherson, an avid whale watcher and photographer, said the Southern Right Whales appeared to be a mating pair.
"They were pretty friendly and were rolling all over each other," he said.
"There was a few people watching.
"We had a whale a week before by itself and before that there was a few humpbacks.
"It's great to see how close you can get up to the whales from the shore."
