The fourth-placed Bloods host the fifth-placed Magpies at Terang Recreation Reserve on Saturday in a Hampden netball crunch game.
The teams both have 4-5 win-loss records with the Bloods holding a superior percentage - but only just.
Terang Mortlake's percentage is 102.96 and Camperdown's is 102.84.
Camperdown coach Brooke Richardson said the Magpies, who are without Jess Cameron for four weeks due to overseas travel, were wary of the Bloods.
"It is going to be a hard game, that's for sure," she said.
MORE NETBALL:
"We just have to focus on what we've been working on and implementing our structures and set plays, especially when we have girls playing in different positions.
"We're going to have to play four strong quarters if we want to come away with the win."
Midcourter Chelsea Baker will move into defence in a move Richardson believes will reap immediate results.
"She won the 17 and under league best and fairest last year playing goal defence," Richardson said.
"She knows what that role involves. She just reads the ball really well."
