The redeveloping Creekers side is set to lose Will McPhee, Coedie Carter, Heath Moloney (unavailable), Harry Hall (ankle) and Marcus Askew (calf).
Caleb Bourke, Chris Robertson, Lucas Wensley and Liam Dwyer come in along with the returning player.
But Timms said Askew, normally a centre-half back who last played for Russells Creek in 2013, would be eased back into life in the Warrnambool and District league with plenty of rotations through the bench.
"Jayden's been training really well but we'll be looking after him so he's ready for a big pre-season next year," he said.
Russells Creek's opponent, South Rovers, welcome back Jake Butler and Dylan Cox and at the expense of Tom White and Zac Timms.
Panmure has lost key position players Tom White (calf) for two to three weeks and Sam Melican (knee) for the potentially the season, with Andrew Meade and Kallan Melican coming up from the reserves for the clash against Dennington.
The Dogs bring in the pacy Jackson Cruickshank along with Jordan Hand, Michael Phillips and Jordan Brown to celebrate Luke Duncan's final game, with Shaun Palmer, Ben Moor, Thomas Pyers (unavailable) and Dillon Paton (hamstring) making way.
"Jackson might be pretty dangerous on a heavy ground given the weather," Dennington coach Mick Phillips said.
Allansford has brought in Harrison Searle, Allan Noone and Jarrod Croft from the reserves, with Bronte Baker, Jeremy Ellis and Matt Lenehan making way.
Cats coach Ben Price said Croft would play a lock-down role in defence, while Searle and Noone would provide extra scoring power.
Their opponent, Nirranda, welcomes back full forward Gary Robinson and Max Primmer while Aaron Smith comes up from the reserves.
Blues mentor Shane Threlfall said his side would be without important mids Tyler Coates and John Paulin (unavailable) as well as Isaac Couch.
"We're lucky to have such good depth," he said.
Kolora-Noorat will hand a seniors debut to Ed Lee, while also bringing in Brad Johnson, Paul McSween and Joel Dillon for Mark Clissold (hamstring), Bailey Kemp, Luke McConnell (unavailable), with Power mentor Ben Walsh (back) to coach from the sidelines.
Walsh said while major changes had unfortunately become a weekly routine for his side, he was rapt to hand Lee a chance in the ones.
"Ed's an athletic forward who plays an exciting brand of footy," Walsh said. "I'm hoping he really backs himself in."
Kolora-Noorat's opponent, the East Warrnambool Bombers, also face major changes.
Andrew Ferguson, Hayden Harradine, Liam Feros-Collins, Paul Hrabar, Tim Chatfield, Dylan Burns and Reihana Heremaia come in while Ethan Rhyne, Bernard Sinnott, Matthew Kenny, Allie Clarke, Roy Oakley, Joel Richards and James Richards make way.
