South Warrnambool's Flynn Atchison and the Hamilton Kangaroos' Harry Waters have both been picked to play on the half forward line in the Rebels' game at Mars Stadium on Saturday.
GWV Rebels talent manager Phil Partington said the double call-up was reward for strong form at the local level.
"I just want them to enjoy the experience, play their natural game and stick to what they do well, because they've clearly got the ability," he said.
Waters has played six senior HFNL games for Hamilton and was best on for his side in the club's round one loss to Koroit.
"Harry has been working hard over the pre-season and thoroughly deserves his opportunity," Partington said.
"He's very competitive and his senior footy experience will hold him in good stead."
Atchison booted 55 goals for the Roosters' under 18.5 outfit in 2018 but has recently battled problems with concussion.
"Flynn has strong running ability and goes for marks," Partington said.
"I hope he can show off his endurance and ball-winning ability."
Partington said Atchison's Roosters teammate Liam Herbert, recently selected in the Victoria Country squad set for the under 18 national championships, would miss the Rebels' game due to 'general soreness'.
"We're just managing Liam's workload," he said.
"It's a precautionary measure and there's no set time-frame on it. But we don't want anyone on our list playing sore or injured, because every time they go out there, they will be watched and judged.
"The welfare of the players comes number one."
The GWV Rebels, 13th, are looking to bounce back against 10th-placed Tasmania after a disappointing loss to Gippsland Power last week.
