Hostilities in the Hampden league break for a long-awaited return to interleague competition on Saturday.
The league has a strong, proud history in inter-association competitions but Saturday's clash with the Ballarat Football Netball League alongside the football match at Ballarat's Mars Stadium, gives players a great opportunity to showcase their skills on a bigger stage.
Cobden midcourter Amy Hammond will make her senior debut for the Bottle Greens, extending her family's association with interleague competition. Her father Stephen 'Trunk' Hammond, was a decorated interleague footballer.
