Orchestra president John MacInnes said the audience was "most enthusiastic about the concert" at St Joseph's church with numbers up on previous years.
He said the audience was treated to an unexpected floral display when one of the percussionists knocked over a vase of flowers.
"The flowers did a nice little arch through the air and landed on the stage," he said
"I think people thought it was meant to be in the act."
He said the audience was "quite impressed" with the performances, and the orchestra vowed to be back next year for its 13th Mother's Day concert.
