The reigning premier will be hoping to knock off the in-form team of the competition when it travels to the Noorat Recreation Reserve on Saturday.
Co-coach Shane Threlfall said it would be a good test for his Blues.
"We get really excited about playing the best sides in the comp," he said.
"At the moment, they're clearly the best side.
"It will give us a good chance to see where we are at and our players look forward to the challenge of playing the Power.
"They've (the Power) increased their depth and certainly brought in some top quality players."
The Blues will be without some of their best players for the bout with experienced midfielder Isaac Templeton (hamstring) and prolific goalkicker Gary Robinson injured.
But premiership hero John Paulin is back in the side this week.
Threlfall said the Blues had a mixed start to the season with players injured and unavailable.
Nirranda was victim to a stunning Old Collegians comeback in round one but has since thumped Dennington and South Rovers.
The Blues mentor said he still had six to seven players to return to the senior side while others needed to get "miles in their legs".
"We'll be a better side in the second half of the year," Threlfall said.
Premiership defenders Luke Weel and Daniel Threlfall are excited for the big clash against the Power.
"They've obviously got some quality players and everyone will have to be on their game this week," Weel said.
