Premiership favourites Koroit and Warrnambool have dominated the initial 45-man Hampden league squad picked to take on Ballarat, with nearly half of the group selected from two clubs.

The players, which include representatives from all 10 HFNL clubs, will train together under the guidance of Jonathan Brown before a final team of 22, plus emergencies, is selected on May 16 for the May 18 clash at Mars Stadium.
This year's squad has the seen the introduction of 22 new faces, including the likes of boom recruits Billie Smedts (North Warrnambool), Tom Couch (Koroit) and Darren Ewing (Warrnambool).
Reigning premier Koroit boasts 11 players with Sam Dobson, Ben Dobson, Brett Harrington, Jeremy Hausler, Dallas Mooney, Jarrod Korewha, Liam Hoy, James Gow, Lachie Rhook and Alex Pulling joining Couch.
And Warrnambool, its opponent this weekend, has nine, with Will Jacobs, Sam Cowling, Jye Turland, Jackson Bell, Daniel Weymouth, Luke Cody, Alex Shipperd and Damien McCorkell joining Ewing.
The other players selected were Jason Robinson, Riley Arnold, Matt Field, Jack Williams and Fraser Lucas (Camperdown), Jarrod O'Brien and Jandre Slabbert (Hamilton Kangaroos), Adam Wines, Tom O'Leary, Will Scriven and Darcy Keast (North Warrnambool Eagles), Kaine Mercovich, Daniel Nicholson, Sandy Robinson, Matthew Sully and Tom Sullivan (Port Fairy), Jesse Williamson (Cobden), Aaron Shepherd, Jake Wilson and Harris Jennings (Portland), Shannon Beks and Liam Youl (South Warrnambool), Ryan O'Connor and Nick Couch (Terang Mortlake).
The squad will attend a mentoring session with North Melbourne assistant coach, Collingwood premiership player Gavin Brown, before participating in two training sessions on May 14 and 16.
Hampden league executive Gary Attrill said this year's interleague squad was the strongest to date.
"Everyone is involved in working hard to continue the success of 2018," he said.
