Yani's Kitchen is now operating out of the beautiful kitchen gardens at Limestone Gallery.
The business originally started as a food pop-up with a desire to test the market and bring fresh food with big bold flavours into the psyche of residents and visitors.
After a successful summer and thanks to the support of the Port Fairy community, the team has decided to open the doors permanently, rebranding to Yani's Kitchen.
He takes inspiration from Japanese, Chinese, Thai and Vietnamese cuisine, juxtaposed with some traditional European flavours, meaning there's always some familiarity and comfort to his food.
Chef and director Janis Vingrys applies a pastiche to the pure delight populating his plates, celebrating and combining years of experience as a head chef at various wineries in New Zealand with his Eastern European family upbringing to present high-quality food that excites and tempts the senses.

One might say it's Asian fusion or just damn good food - but they'll leave that up to the diner to decide.
The style is fresh, locally sourced (where possible) with ingredients that bounce across the palate with ease.
There's a touch of boldness to remind the taste buds of something familiar, yet very different at the same time.
The menu - which is extremely food allergy-friendly - is written to be shared by the table. It is just as easy to order a couple of dishes or the whole menu, then sit back and relax as the kitchen sends out the food.
There's also a revolving menu that will change with the seasons, aiming to keep anticipatory diners excited and coming back for more.
The venue itself, Limestone Gallery, boasts one of the best beer gardens in Victoria and the family-friendly environment means it's the perfect place to relax.
For anyone planning a big function, birthday, wedding, or who just wants a nice day out with a bunch of friends, reach out to the team and they will create something memorable for the occasion.
