Sergeant Andrew Dunlop, of Portland police, said officers found 14 medium sized plants at a south Portland home on Friday about 6pm.
"A male in his 50s was arrested at the scene," Sergeant Dunlop said.
"He was taken to the police station, interviewed, charged and bailed to appear in court in July."
Sergeant Dunlop said the man was charged with cultivate, possess and traffick marijuana.
