That was how the invite read for The Western Victoria Holden Car Club's annual Show and Shine on Saturday.
The club's eighth charity fundraiser will be held at Lake Pertobe from 10am to 2pm.
Event organiser and car club president Peter Dunn said he hoped the event would attract a lot of supporters.
"The event gets bigger each year and over 100 Holden cars are expected, he said.
"The show attracts cars from Geelong, Ballarat, Terang, Portland and across the south-west.
"It's a chance for history and car-lovers to meet, reminisce and share stories about the beloved Aussie icon.
Mr Dunn said vehicles on display were continuing to increase in value.
"The cars are now rising in value and some highly collectable cars will be on display on the day including Kevin Bonner’s FJ that was awarded second place in the Improved Stock at the recent FX-FJ Nationals.
“Holdens look great and they are Australian built and designed. You can’t beat that.”
Gold coin donations taken at the gate will go to Warrnambool and District Foodshare.
“We are proud of our event, it has become a staple on the car lovers’ calendar and we try to freshen it up each year," Mr Dunn said.
"This year promises to be a ripper.”
Displays will include examples of the first Holden to roll off the production line.
"Commonly known as the FX," Mr Dunn said.
"There will also be general examples, both stock and modified, of each model of the Holden cars."
The event will include a barbecue, jumping castle, raffle and entertainment with spectators welcome to vote for their favourite car in the People’s Choice on the day.
