A high pressure system near the South Australian border will move rapidly eastwards across the state today, reaching the Tasman Sea this evening.
The high will extend a ridge across Victoria on Thursday, then weaken as another high crosses Tasmania on Friday then persists over the Tasman Sea on Saturday.
