Blue skies and sun warmed the backs of performers on Saturday, and cooler temperatures and rain had patrons seeking warmth and shelter in the tents on Sunday.
The festival favorite Big Sunday Singout was the place to be for those who wanted to exercise their vocal cords, with a packed Shebeen Bar singing along to a range of old favourites.
Guitarist and singer Jimi Hocking told the crowd he was channelling the spirit of Rick E. Vengance, opening the show with the classic "Rubber Ducky, Your The One".
"The cheesier the songs are, the better," Hocking said.
Festival attendee Diego Barua, from Frankston, spent time in the instrument makers tent examining the range of drums and guitars available.
"I am always looking for a new instrument," he said.
American singer Neko Case said the Folk Festival was her "favourite show".
"Basically I got to play a super fun rock show with people from all over the world," Case said.
"So happy to wake up with magpies singing at me in Port Fairy.
"Today I literally shared my watermelon with alpaca and chickens."
