A high pressure system lies over the Tasman Sea on Friday as a weakening cold front passes south of Victoria.
On Saturday a weak trough will develop over inland Victoria as a low pressure system develops off the southern New South Wales coast.
The low will move eastwards on Sunday as a trough crosses Victoria and a weak cold front follows on Sunday night.
A stronger cold front will approach Victoria later Monday.
For the next seven days Warrnambool is expecting a top of 23 on Saturday, 21 on Sunday, 18 Monday, 17 Tuesday, 17 Wednesday, 20 Thursday and 21 on Friday.
