Racing Victoria has changed starting times for the nine-race program due to the forecast temperature of 36 degrees.
Jester Halo is running in the Tressady Stakes which is the last race on the card at 3.20pm.
The opening race is scheduled for 10.55am.
Jester Halo won a fillies and mares race in very hot conditions at Caulfield in January 2018.
“She’s a tough mare,” Kolpin said.
“It was a very hot day back in January last year when she won.
"I don’t think the heat will cause any concerns for her.
"She’s a good traveller and this time we’re running at Flemington instead of going to Caulfield.
"It’s not a bad run down the highway from Hamilton to Flemington.”
Kolpin, who is the racecourse manager at Hamilton, said the lightly raced six-year-old mare had pulled up well from her last run when she ran third at Flemington on February 16.
“I’m really happy how she’s going in this campaign,” he said.
“She worked impressive on the training track on Tuesday morning.
"She’s in very good condition I’m expecting her to run well.”
Bookmakers have installed Jester Halo as a $17 chance in the opening betting markets.
Warrnambool trainers Alan Peterson, Symon Wilde and Aaron Purcell have runners at the meeting while the Ciaron Maher stable has numerous runners including Extra Brut in the $1 million Australian Guineas.
Meanwhile, the Colac Turf Club hosts a seven race program on Sunday.
The feature race is the $22,000 Birregurra Cup to be run over 3350 metres.
Lucques, trained by veteran trainer Eric Musgrove, heads the weights.
Underrated jockey Jarrod Fry is booked to ride the seven-year-old, who has had three runs back from a long spell.
Lucques is being set for a jumping campaign.
