Jenny Scott, Dianne Gordon, Lorna Bourke and Pauline Roberts took out the re-named long-time Terang Bowls Club event by six points.
Skippered by Scott, the quartet finished on 130 points with fellow City Memorial team Helen Maddin Colleen Haberfield, Helen Maloney and Helen Kelly in second place with 124 points.
Following closely behind them in third was Timboon's Joan Lang, Corrie Dixon, Trix Hayden and Andrea Swayn on 116 points.
"We weren't the favourites but we had some good wins and it was a thrill to win the first one in Margaret's honour," Scott said of the victory.
"We just all played as a team and we had our moments and played well from time to time. We just gelled together well as a team. I have not played with all these ladies but I play with Pauline every week, she is my third in pennant, and we play together well."
Eighty-eight players participated in the re-named edition of the tournament.
