Warrnambool police are seeking information from the public after distinctive coins were stolen during a break-in.

Detective Senior Constable Derek Verity, of the Warrnambool police crime investigation unit, said that between February 5 and February 7 a burglary and theft happened at a home in Warrnambool's Wellington Street.
"Offenders forcing entry to the premises before stealing various items including watches, acoustic guitars, various ornaments, crystal figurines and 10 distinctive $200 coins," he said.
"The coins are stamped with the year 1984. They are very unique and will be easily recognised.
“Anyone with information is urged to contacted the Warrnambool police station or Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000," he said.
