Wildlife carers in the region are in need of trained rescuers to assist with sick, injured or orphaned wildlife.
Wildlife Victoria is running courses at Hamilton next month to train up rescuers.
Training sessions cover rescue techniques for common species in the region, volunteer communication and networking plus the chance to meet and learn from experienced wildlife carers and rescuers.
Bookings for the sessions are essential.
It will be held on Saturday, March 2 at Hamilton Institute of Rural Learning from 10am to 4pm.
The cost of the course is $90.
