While the Waves missed the final, finishing third in their conference, they did go out with a bang, defeating Mallee on Wednesday by three wickets.
Mallee batted first and made 7-175, a score which the Waves ran down in the 47th over.
The best performer with the ball for the Waves was Ethan Boyd, who snared 3-38 from his eight overs.
With the bat, Fletcher Cozens capped off a strong week with 48 at the top of the order.
Wicketkeeper-batsman Oliver Mahncke made 41 at number four while Vincent Huf helped guide the lower order with an unbeaten 23.
The Waves won four of its seven games in a competition that began in November last year.
Three under 14 Western Waves players have been selected to represent the Melbourne Renegades in the under 14 youth super series.
Flynn Wilkinson (Merrivale), Noah Dawson (West Warrnambool) and Kaidyn Weber (Mount Gambier) have all been chosen for higher honours.
The team will play a one-day game on February 3 and follow up with two Twenty20 games on February 17.
