The 19-year-old leg spinner took 1-23 from her four overs as the Renegades restricted the star-studded Sydney Sixers to 4-131 in the first innings of the semi-final at Drummoyne Oval.
The Renegades equaled the Sixers’ score on the final ball of the over, as Wareham’s housemate Sophie Molineux was run out attempting a match-winning run, sending the game into a super over.
Molineux combined with Danni Wyatt, who was run out after two balls, and Jess Duffin to score 1-6 from their over of batting.
The Sixers’ star hitters in Perry and wicket-keeper Alyssa Healy then made short work of Molly Strano to book their side’s spot in the decider and end the Renegades’ first WBBL finals campaign.
