Ludeman played the first three games for the Melbourne Renegades but has missed selection in the past five encounters.
The Renegades are fifth on the ladder with a 4-4 win/loss record.
Ludeman said he was keen to get back among the action in the country’s premier Twenty20 competition.
“I’m disappointed to not be playing at the moment but it is a long tournament,” Ludeman said.
“I’ll just keep working hard and give myself the best chance if an opportunity arises.”
Ludeman has been true to his word, putting together good form for his Victorian Premier Cricket club Geelong.
Ludeman made 93 from 104 balls in the Cats one-day win over Fitzroy Doncaster on Saturday.
Former Woodford and Nirranda players Tommy Jackson and Brody Couch are among Ludeman’s teammates at Geelong.
“They are good young lads and it’s nice to have them at Geelong,” Ludeman said.
“I see a bit of myself in Tommy, he’s an aggressive batsman who keeps.
“Brody is a very clever, crafty bowler, they are both good additions.
“I suppose I have gained a bit of experience over the journey so it is good to be able to pass that on.
“Knowing these two boys and where they are from and their families does add to that connection to them.”
Ludeman said playing first-class cricket for Victoria was not on the radar for him at the moment.
He said he was instead focusing on white-ball cricket when it came to seeking further opportunities at higher levels.
Ludeman has played 47 first-class games, all for South Australia, after moving to Adelaide in 2009.
He returned to Victoria to play for Geelong last season.
