The high will move south of Tasmania on Tuesday and extend a ridge across Victoria as another low moves over the Bight.
The low is expected to reach the northwest of the State later on Wednesday then move east across the remainder of northern Victoria during Thursday as a high south of Western Australia extends a ridge across the Bight towards Victoria.
