Detective Sergeant Mark James, of the Hamilton police crime investigation unit, said a search warrant was executed at a Rasmussen Avenue home at 6.20am Friday.
He said a bag containing a significant amount of cannabis was located in a bedroom.
"A 27-year-old Hamilton woman has been interviewed in relation to trafficking cannabis," he said.
"A brief of evidence will now be compiled and submitted for prosecution assessment.
"A man, who was also at the home, was spoken to about possession of a small amount of cannabis, but he is yet to be formally interviewed."
Detective Sergeant James said a 39-year-old Hamilton man had also been charged with burglary and theft in relation to allegedly stealing a motorbike valued at $5000.
A motorbike was stolen from a Macarthur address between November 18 and 20.
"Police will allege the bike was dumped in a Ballarat street and forensic evidence links the bike to the accused man," he said.
"The man will appear in the Warrnambool Magistrates Court for a bail/remand hearing on Friday afternoon," he said.
