Detective Senior Constable Rachael McMahon, of the Warrnambool police crime investigation unit, said it had been suggested that a number of drivers had such vision.
"Warrnambool police crime investigation unit investigators are seeking any dash cam footage of a police pursuit that occurred early last Sunday afternoon, involving a green Holden ute, which subsequently crashed in Camperdown," she said.
"Anyone with footage is urged to contact Warrnambool CIU on 5560 1333 or Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000," she said.
Earlier: A previously wanted Warrnambool man arrested on Sunday after a 40-minute high speed police chase has been remanded in custody until February 2.
Dominic Kelly, 39, previously of Fleetwood Court and Allansford, declined to appear in the Warrnambool Magistrates Court on Monday.
Lawyer Amanda Chambers said Mr Kelly decided to remain in the Warrnambool police station cells, rather than appear in court.
She said custody management issues included withdrawing from drug use and Mr Kelly claimed he had a back injury, possibly sustained when he was arrested.
There was no application for bail and magistrate Franz Holzer remanded Mr Kelly in custody until early February.
On Sunday police said a green SS Holden ute, claimed to be stolen from Warrnambool, reached speeds of more than 150km/h before a chase came to an abrupt end in Camperdown about 1.30pm.
Detective Senior Constable Richard Hughes, of the Warrnambool Criminal Investigation Unit, said the driver of the vehicle was able to initially evade police but he was later spotted.
He said a 40-minute pursuit reached speeds of more than 150 km/h through Framlingham, The Sisters, Noorat and along the Princes Highway to Camperdown.
Detective Senior Constable Hughes said the pursuit came to an end near Scott Street in Camperdown when the front wheel of vehicle hit the gutter, forcing the car onto two wheels.
Mr Kelly was arrested, interviewed and charged with a range of driving offences, theft of cars and other crimes.
