The Wharf, which includes a restaurant and takeaway fish and chip shop overlooking Port Fairy’s Moyne River, was officially opened by Moyne Shire mayor Mick Wolfe and Wannon MP Dan Tehan on October 28.
Moyne Shire council hosted the event, which included face painting, children’s activities, live music and canapes from The Wharf.
Port Fairy’s Thea Ploenges and Millie Austin, from Warrnambool, celebrated their win recently with a lunch of chicken nuggets and chips with Cr Wolfe who presented them with their prizes. Each of the five winners will receive a voucher to The Wharf and textas.
