BETTING agency Sportsbet has declared Liberal candidate Roma Britnell all but across the line in the battle for the state lower house seat of South West Coast.

Mrs Britnell is rated at the prohibitive odds of $1.07 in election markets for next Saturday's state poll.
Independent James Purcell is second favourite at the distant odds of $7, followed by former Warrnambool mayor Michael Neoh ($11), with The Greens candidate Tom Campbell at $12, Kyle Gaston (Labor) is $16, independent Michael McCluskey ($18), Jim Doukas of the Country Party $31, Joseph Purtill (DLP) $51 and Terry Riggs of the Victorian Socialists is at $61.
A Sportsbet spokesman said there had been little interest from in punters in the South West Coast market.
The state election will be held next Saturday, but pre-polling can be done at 48 Kepler Street in Warrnambool just down from the Capitol Theatre.
