The club has confirmed reigning and back-to-back Warrnambool and District league best-and-fairest winner Cloe Marr will play for the Blues in 2019.
Marr has left the Timboon Demons, who she joined in 2014, to play for the reigning premier.
Nirranda premiership playing-coach Steph Townsend said she was beyond excited to have the star defender on her team.
"Her resume speaks for itself, especially over the last two seasons," she said.
"I just think her attitude towards the actual game itself is one of the best things about her.
“She has just got so much respect for her teammates and opponents.
"For me, Cloe is just an all-round fantastic person who just has such a great nature and I think she brings so many attributes to whoever she plays around.
"And the way she carries herself on the netball court, you always know what you are going to get with her, it is always a very hard but very fair contest.”
A main reason behind Marr changing clubs is due to a promise she made Nirranda several years ago, when her husband Bevan endured a battle with Guillian-Barre syndrome – the same illness which affected Hawthorn coach Alastair Clarkson.
Following Nirranda’s support of Bevan, the dual league best and fairest winner vowed to play for the club at some point in her career as her way of thanking the Blues.
