The fire occurred near the old Loch Ard Gorge cemetery.
Parks Victoria and CFA crews were on the scene of the fire.
UPDATE 5.20pm: The fire is now under control.
A CFA spokesman said fire crews will remain on the scene to black out the fire ground.
UPDATE 4.50pm: Four tankers are now on the scene of the fire.
A spokeswoman said the tankers were from Timboon, Simpson, Princetown and Port Campbell.
EARLIER: Emergency services are en route to a fire near Port Campbell.
A Country Fire Authority spokeswoman said the fire was called in just before 4pm.
She said a column of smoke had been noticed near Loch Ard Gorge.
"It has been confirmed as a grass fire," she said.
"The Princetown tanker is on the way to the fire."
