A Shepparton man visiting the south-west has landed himself in the cells after damaging a vehicle at Warrnambool.

Sergeant Tom Morris, of Warrnambool police, said the 22-year-old was arrested at a property in Henna Street about 3pm on Thursday.
He said the man smashed the driver's side rear-view mirror of a white Mitsubishi Magna sedan following a dispute at the property.
The man was arrested and charged with criminal damage, breaching a court order and committing an indictable offence whilst on bail.
He was lodged in the police cells and will appear in Warrnambool Magistrates Court on Friday.
