A 48 year-old man remains in a stable condition at South West Healthcare after the helicopter he was piloting clipped power lines near Darlington on Saturday morning.

Ambulance Victoria confirmed the man was assessed at the scene at 7:45am, before being taken by road to Warrnambool’s main hospital with a laceration to his leg.
A Victoria Police representative said the helicopter landed in a paddock just near the Darlington-Terang Road.
Police have confirmed both The Australian Transport Bureau and Worksafe have been notified of the incident.
The incident caused power outages in Mortlake, which Powercor confirm was fully restored by 3pm.
