The talented half-back told The Standard he will assess his playing future after a physical and mental break from the game.
“At this stage, I would like to be at Camperdown next year but I haven’t really given it any great thought,” Williams said.
“I started pre-season in October last year so it’s been a big 12 months.
“I just want to step away from all things footy for a month or so and then get back into it.”
Williams had a stellar 2018, winning the club best and fairest. The 23-year-old also claimed this award in 2015. His good form helped the Magpies reach the Hampden league grand final, finishing runners-up to Koroit.
“Reflecting after the grand final, we know that we can take it up to the best teams,” Williams said.
