The 2018 Biofund program has been launched, giving landholders and community groups an opportunity to apply for funds for revegetation works.
Biofund is HDLN’s core Landcare revegetation project and has been running for 12 years.
HDLN Landcare coordinator Geoff Rollinson said landholders were now invited to submit revegetation project ideas through an expression of interest process.
Funding is available for private landholders or community groups.
Revegetation works can include shelterbelts, buffers around remnant vegetation and waterways, erosion control, habitat plantings and aesthetic/educational plantings. Revegetation can be via seedlings or direct seeding.
Landholders can contact Mr Rollinson on 5598 3755 or geoff@heytesburylandcare.org.au or download expression of interest forms from the HDLN website.
