Both coaches believe the season finale at Harris Street Reserve will be a cracker and has the possibility to go right down to the wire.
Fraser said his side was happy to head into the game as underdogs.
“We are quietly confident going into it,” the playing manager said.
“We have had an amazing first season as a club and we are quietly confident of causing an upset.”
Brooks said his side, which finished as the league champions, would not be effected by the favourite tag.
“It’s all about the boys putting in as much as they could this year and all the praise goes to them," he said.
“I just try to do my best and help them along and we have a lot of young boys, who are upcoming players, and it’s all down to them.”
Fraser highlighted Matt Lyne as a player capable of driving the Lions to success.
“Matty has been amazing, he was previously at the Wolves, and the way he goes about his footy on and off the field and his mental attributes are absolutely amazing,” he said.
“He is definitely a key factor for us and I think the Wolves know that.
“But we do have a lot of experience and that’s where we have a bit of an advantage.”
For the Wolves it will be without its marquee player in Corrie Shields, who will miss after he gained five yellow cards in a season. Mick Meric will miss for the Lions after he received a red card after copping two cautions in the preliminary final.
The senior match kicks off at 3pm with the Wolves and Rangers battling in both the under 12s at 11am and 14s and 3pm.
