Marsden, 31, crossed back to the south-west’s major league mid-season after a stint in the Warrnambool and District competition.
“I have really enjoyed it, it’s a different pace and the speed of the game is really good,” the Warrnambool-based netballer said.
“I feel like I had to step up my game a little bit too which has been good.”
Marsden, who manages knee troubles, will combine with Forrest when the Seagulls take on North Warrnambool Eagles in Sunday’s first semi-final at Mortlake.
“She’s brilliant. Her speed and feeds into the goal circle are great,” she said.
“She’s a really knowledgeable player.”
Ladder-leader Cobden will play reigning premier Koroit in the second semi-final at Portland’s Hanlon Park on Saturday.
