Magpies forward Eddie, 23, said he loved running out in the black and white with older sibling Fraser, 24, and younger brother Charlie, 19.
Fraser, an accomplished defender who can switch to attack, and wingman Charlie will join Eddie against Koroit in the Hampden league second semi-final at Portland on Saturday.
“It is good playing with them, they give me a few sprays here and there and likewise me to them,” Eddie said.
“It’s what happens with brothers. It’s our first year in senior football together and we’re enjoying it.”
Eddie said Charlie was “having his best year”.
“He’s playing a wing role well and is starting to understand how to go about senior football. He put in a good pre-season and is reaping the rewards,” he said.
Eddie, who has kicked 12 goals from 10 matches, said he was proud of the Magpies’ rise in 2018.
They are assured a preliminary final berth at a minimum after missing the top-five 12 months ago.
The Camperdown born-and-bred Eddie, who works as a labourer at Corangamite Shire, said the club “means a lot to a lot of people”.
Most of the Magpies’ list is from the area with Carse, Harrison Hunkin and Jason Robinson among the talent recruited to the club.
“It is very important, especially for a club like us, to top up here and there and bring players in and hope they hang around,” Eddie said.
“It’s also great guys who have played junior football together are now playing senior finals.”
