Police are investigating a two-car crash that occurred at Condah on Wednesday afternoon.
A Heywood police spokesman said the crash happened at 4.30pm on Fleece Road in Condah.
"There was a black Proton parked on Fleece Road Condah facing west," he said. "It went to do a u-turn and turned in front of a white Toyota SUV that was about to pass it, also heading west.
"Everyone was checked out by the ambulance there was five children involved and one driver was taken to Hamilton (hospital) for observation."
The spokesman said the other occupants including the other female driver, two teenagers in the Proton and three young children in the Toyota were shaken but uninjured. The cars sustained moderate damage in the crash, he said.
The spokesman said the driver of the Proton who was attempting the u-turn didn't see the Toyota coming and police were investigating.
"It highlights accidents can happen anywhere and everyone's got to be careful with what they're doing."
Western District Health Service community liaison officer Brigid Kelly said a woman involved in the crash was admitted to the hospital on Wednesday afternoon and was discharged on Wednesday night.
