Sergeant Patrick Day from Koroit police said a Warrnambool man was detected driving 143km-h on the Princess Highway in Illowa. The 64-year-old has had his licence suspended for six months.
A 25-year-old Koroit man will also be off the road for six months after he was caught doing 117km-h in a 80km-h zone through Southern cross. The vehicle the man was driving was also unregistered.
In unrelated news, a 17-year old Koroit man has been fined for littering after he threw a tray of chips and gravy at the front of a house in the town.
“The home owners heard a bang and went outside to find the front of the home splattered with gravy and hots chips littering the veranda,” Sergeant Day said.
