The Roosters won three of the four Hampden league junior grand finals at the Bushfield Recreation Reserve in what was a super Sunday for the club.
South’s under 16 netball team kicked off the celebrations after it was crowned premiers and champions following a six-goal victory against the Hawks.
Coach Nikki Mitchem said she could not be more proud of her team.
"That is just so amazing," she said.
"These girls deserve this this year. They played so awesome all season together as a group and they get along so well.”
The Roosters also ruled the roost on the football field.
South’s under 14 footballers sought the redemption they were after for last year’s grand final lost to Koroit, by pulling off an 18-point upset-win against the Saints.
The match had plenty of action and drama with the lead changing on several occasions.
Coach Ben Thomas said the victory was the result of a classic team effort.
"Look it's fantastic for the kids. They are a great bunch of kids so I am real proud of them," he said.
"I think it (the key) was the spread of players that played well and did their roles.”
The three-flag feat was capped off with South’s under 14 netballers.
They continuously had to fight off the gallant Hawks before taking out the grand final 20-14.
Coach Kylie Farley said it was hard to describe the feeling of winning the grand final.
"We are just so pleased we got the result we did,” she said.
“We've worked so hard for it and I am just so proud of the girls.
"I never felt safe until that siren went at the end, so it is a credit to the Emmaunel Hawks girls."
The under 16 football match between North Warrnambool Eagles and Hamilton Kangaroos was a perfect end to a brilliant day of grand final action.
The Eagles soared to a thrilling nine-point win over the Kangaroos in the rain.
The 7.4 (46) to 5.7 (37) loss was extra heartbreaking for the Kangaroos, as it was their second consecutive grand final defeat.
But it was a joyous occasion for the Eagles who claimed the premiership on home soil and in front of a passionate home crowd.
Coach Luke Howlett said his team was forced to work hard for the win, but it was relentless until the very end.
"I think they just executed their plan," he said.
"Their tackles and smothers were brilliant today and that was our cornerstone all year and we knew if we were doing that we were probably going to come close.”
