At 7.50am it was 6.7 degrees in Warrnambool but it felt like 1.9 degrees.
Thursday will see showers during the morning and afternoon and possible snow above 1100 metres.
Warrnambool has had just over 4mm of rain since 9am Wednesday, Dartmoor 5mm and Hamilton 2mm.
The next cold front will approach from the west and reach far south-west Victoria late Friday afternoon. It will cross remaining districts Friday night and early Saturday.
Temperatures will hit a top of 13 degrees in Warrnambool on Thursday, Hamilton 12 and Colac 11.
