TWO Warrnambool and District league senior footballers will face the independent tribunal this week.

Nirranda midfielder Isaac Templeton was reported for intentionally or carelessly stomping on another person during the Blues’ win over Old Collegians on Saturday.

Templeton, who joined Nirranda from Hampden league powerhouse Koroit this season, was yellow carded during the third quarter for an incident with Warriors’ Aaron Williams.

The six-time Koroit premiership player and two-time Maskell Medallist will front the tribunal at AFL Western District headquarters at Deakin University on Wednesday night.

East Warrnambool’s Phillip Chatfield will face the tribunal on Tuesday night for an incident stemming from the Bombers’ loss to Russells Creek at Mack Oval on Saturday.

Chatfield was charged with behaving in an abusive, insulting, threatening or obscene manner towards or in relation to an umpire during the second quarter.

There is one round remaining in the Warrnambool and District league home and away season.
